Lovin' V

Hey friends! Happy Friday to you! Another long week in the books and a beautiful weekend ahead. My schedule is wide open for the weekend and I couldn't be more excited. Though, on Saturday I am walking/running a 5k, but other than that I am free. I see a lot of relaxing, tanning and cooking in my future :).

What are your plans for the weekend?

This week I wanted to share with you a few more things that I am totally lovin' right now. My brother adopted a little pup last week so I thought it was a good time to introduce all of the Flynn fur babies!!! I am always lovin' on these furry companions!!

Lets start with the little ones first, shall we?

Lui. Oh boy. This little baby is just adorable. He is a long-haired miniature dachshund. My brother adopted him and surprised his girlfriend with him last week. He is about 3 months old and just as loving as he can be. He love, love, loves to be carried around or held for hours on end. That is my favorite part about him ;-)...why can't any of the kitties like to be held?! He is the most recent addition to my brothers home and also the first dog ever in the Flynn family. When my brother bought his home we knew it was only a matter of weeks before a pup was introduced into the family. Needless to say, he is one spoiled pup!!

Misty. aka The Queen. Misty was the first animal to be welcomed into my brothers home. Boy, does it show...she acts like she runs the place! She is just as sweet as she can be, and has the cutest, quirkiest meow. She always makes this almost buzzing sound when she enters or leaves a room alerting everyone she is doing so. Nobody is quite sure what kind of cat she is, but she has a striking resemblance to the Russian Blue breeds. Her personality is very fitting with the Blue's description, too.

Marly. This little guy is WILD! He is wide freaking open and does whatever the hell he wants! ha. Marly was adopted from a friend who fostered a pregnant cat a couple of months back. He is just as cute as he can be, but boy, he is energetic! He can climb a cat tree in about .0005 seconds. He will literally run around the SIDES of the mattress in my brothers room. Seriously, like he is sideways running across the edges of the mattress. Misty and Marly will play for hours on end and it is the most entertaining thing to watch. He is a crazy one that's for sure! Crazy and cute.

Sunny. We adopted Sunny about 2 years back as a surprise birthday present for my mom. This was our first major pet, ever & boy was she surprised! We have had birds and turtles and all that jazz, but never a dog or a cat. Lets just say he is SPOILED. He loves to lay on the screened in porch and "hunt" the birds outside. His other favorite things to do are to play with aluminum foil balls, rubber bands (hair ties, twistie ties, etc) or string. When he finds a good toy he loves, he will carry it everywhere with him. He also loves going up to the lake with us!

Photo Grid App. If you take any sort of pictures with your phone you must download this app. I am in love with it! It is basically a photo editor/collage maker right on your phone. You can add text, pictures, borders, etc all in a matter of seconds. The animal photo above was created in the app. It makes it much easier for me because most of my pictures are from my phone and I can edit them right away and then send to my computer. Oh, huge bonus...it's free! (On android--do not know the cost on iPhone).

Colorful Pens. Just go ahead and judge me. I get it. Who would really love colorful pens enough to put it on a list of things your lovin'? Me, that's who! Oh, and don't forget, it's on the same post that I included my 4 little babies on ;-). Yep.

Anyways, my obsession with colorful pens is that while I am sitting at my desk for 9 hours a day I find that colorful sticky notes and fun pens really keep me happy throughout the long workday. It really is the little things, people!

Candy Crush App. Have you taken the plunge and downloaded this app that everyone keeps talking about? Really, if I were being completely honest with you, I would tell you not to download this app. Why? Think of it like Pinterest...hours gone that you will never get back. Oh the horror! Download it.

Those are my obsessions for the week. Now tell me yours!!

Have a fabulous weekend, friends :-)
