A couple of weeks ago I posted about getting back into it. I made 4 goals to determine what I needed to do to get back into my grove with dieting and exercising. Now that a few weeks has passed I wanted to share with you my progress and what needs improving.
The 4 things I needed to improve and focus on were:
Working out.
Dieting.
Consuming more water.
Making activities count.
First up, working out. I have to admit after I posted this plan I found my self adamant about getting into this for the first few days, but I completely slacked off after that. I am happy to say that I am now seriously back into it and working on improving my workouts and running each day.
Next, we have the diet. I am proud to say the diet portion has been going fairly well. Although the weight loss has not reflected it, I have had numerous people come up to me lately asking if I've lost some weight. So maybe inches not lbs? I am okay with that too!
Third up, water. I am killing the water consumption during the week! At least 4, 16 oz bottles a day. Still need to work on the weekend consumption...less beer, more water. Got it!
Finally, making activities count. This one was really something I wanted to get done, but it really just didn't happen. I did go on more walks, but as far as doing other activities I just have not had a decent weekend for weather in the past couple of weeks. Lets hope it clears up so I can get outside more!
All in all I am happy with the past few weeks. I have a lot more improving to do and need to make sure to buckle down on my workouts. Once that is pumped up I should be seeing results on the scale. My new weight loss goal is to be down 12-15 pounds by my birthday. That is in mid- September so I have around 3 months to successfully do this.
